The Jury, Morjan Alaoui, actress of Martyrs (Pascal Laugnier, 2008); Quim Casas film critic, and actor and director Alex Brendemülh have awarded The Orphan Killer, directed by Matt Farnsworth with the Best Film Prize.
A traditional but irreverent slasher that moves away from the typically used bad cliche and becomes a gore-retro-modern slasher so exciting from the second minute.
In addition, Matt, actress Diane Foster, and Marcus Miller (The Orphan Killer), joined us during the ceremony and collected his award from the President of the Jury.

¿Que tienen que enseñarme modales “kill them all” (o debería decir Matt)? ¿Donde ves los malos modales? ¿Es que no aceptas una simple opinión en contra? Deberías acostumbrarte a las críticas, porque no soy el único al que no le gusta nada tu película, ni mucho menos, y como sigas haciendo semejantes bodrios y soltar esos comentarios así, te van a llover.
A ti si tendrían que enseñarte modales, y a escribir un guión decente y dirigir también. Si le pusieras la mitad de interés a esas laboras que a promocionar tu película, aún, que en marketing si pones empeño…y ahora hasta amenazas a quien está en contra de tu “obra maestra”. ¿Conseguiste asi el premio? Porque no me lo explico. ¡Te crees John Carpenter y no llegas ni a Josef Maurinho!
